Oak Bay Power and Sail Squadron is a non-profit association of boating enthusiasts in Victoria, B.C. joined by a common goal: that is to promote safe boating awareness for both power and sailing vessels. Join us in providing boating education and enjoy the good fellowship that membership brings. Just a reminder: you do not have to be a boat owner to enroll in classes or be a member!
Remember, by September 25th, 2009, all operators of a motorized pleasure craft must be in posesion of the Pleasure Craft Operators Card (PCOC). This is the only card approved by Transport Canada, and is the only card recognized in the United States. This card is available when taking your Safe Boating course in either our fall or winter course sessions. Both course sessions also provide you with membership in Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons for one year!
We provide club cruises around our scenic waters of the Gulf Islands. See events calendar for cruise schedules.
